No, not necessarily the sleeper hit show of the 90's (although, local legend has it that events inspired the storyline of said show... ) but a place to explore if you've never been.  Being the highest ridge of the more local area until you get up to Running Springs and Big Bear, we see most snow accumulation up here.  The local convenience store has the basics you may need without a jaunt to the local grocery, and a couple businesses reside here.. but apart from that, you have little (and some big) houses tucked away amongst the pines.  Also here in Twin Peaks is one of the San Bernardino Mountain Land Trust sites where you can visit and hike (click for more info), and also explore some history.
